Application Guidelines

There are a variety of ways in which we help with development aid work, promoting understanding between peoples, and charitable projects.

For an initial assessment please send us us an outline of your proposed project (in English or German), to the Schmitz Foundations, by e-mail if possible. For this purpose please use our outline application template.

If, following our initial assessment, we see a possibility for our Foundation to provide support, we will then ask you to submit a detailed project proposal using our detailed application template.

Please note: We do not provide finance to meet the costs of travel to developing countries, for study purposes, work experience, disaster aid , or direct medical assistance.
